What good is AI at doing stuff if humans don't do their part?

AI summaries are just a starting point. You still need people to act on what they find, whether that's your sales reps talking to customers, your buyer preparing for price changes, or your owner reviewing margins. I ask Claude to write specific messages for each role with clear next actions, then ha

For example, paste a supplier price notice into Claude and ask for a summary. You will get a summary but you still need someone to act on it.

Say a notice reads 6%, effective November 1. The sales rep needs to know what to tell customers and what they can (or can’t) promise. The buyer needs what to do before November 1. The owner needs the margin impact.

When prompting Claude, name those three readers and ask for one short message each. A named reader with a next action tells Claude what to keep. Ask Claude to write email drafts and place them in our draft folder in Outlook. I do it all the time.

That is how you get AI working for you.
