SAP’s Production and Logistics AI Agents Are in General Availability
What happened
SAP confirmed that several AI agents reached general availability in Q2 2026. The Production Planning and Operations Agent handles scheduling and sequencing inside SAP S/4HANA. The Material Reservation and Outbound Task Orchestration Agent handles inventory allocation and logistics execution. Joule Studio 2.0, the tool for building custom agents on SAP, also reached GA in June.
What it means for you
The preview period is over. If your business runs on SAP S/4HANA and you haven’t asked your account team which of these agents are included in your current contract, that conversation is overdue. For a distributor, the two that matter most are the ones that touch procurement and logistics. Both are live now. Call your SAP rep this week and find out what it takes to turn them on.
Samsung Deploys ChatGPT and Codex to Every Employee Worldwide
What happened
On June 21, OpenAI confirmed that Samsung Electronics is deploying ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex to all employees in South Korea and all employees in its Device eXperience division globally. OpenAI called it one of its largest enterprise deployments to date. More than 5 million people use Codex weekly. Weekly active Codex users in Korea grew nearly 800% since February 2026.
What it means for you
Samsung makes the chips, displays, and consumer electronics inside the plants your customers run. When a company that size puts ChatGPT in front of every employee, it changes how those employees work, including the procurement and supply chain teams your sales reps call on. If your customer is using AI to prep for your call, you should be using it too. This week is a good time to check whether your sales team is.
GPT-5.2 Is Gone. GPT-5.5 Is the Default. GPT-4.5 Retires in Five Days.
What happened
OpenAI retired GPT-5.2 from ChatGPT on June 12, 2026. All existing conversations on GPT-5.2 moved automatically to GPT-5.5. GPT-4.5 will be retired from ChatGPT on June 27. If your team uses OpenAI’s API to run ChatGPT inside any workflow, GPT-4.5 access ends in five days.
What it means for you
Model version changes feel like inside baseball until a prompt that worked last week starts giving different answers. If your team has any workflow built around ChatGPT — drafting emails, summarizing calls, generating SOPs — test it this week. GPT-5.5 is generally better, but behavior changes at version boundaries. It takes 20 minutes to verify. It takes a weekend to troubleshoot when something breaks on its own.
What’s one ChatGPT workflow your team actually uses every day that saves real time? Reply and tell me. I’ll pull the best patterns into a future issue.
